At Reboocon, we deal with the challenges of technology. We make what was not possible in past possible, and what was not available available. We make our robots lightweight, easy to operate, intelligent. Thru our endeavor, we hope that people with mobility impairment can stand up and walk, enjoying the delight of walking and seeing others in the eye level.
OUR STORY
Shiqian Wang, the founder of this company is determined to advance robotic technology to help disabled people. Back in 2006, he had this idea when he was an undergraduate student. Since 2010, as a researcher he has been developing robotic suit (exoskeleton) for spinal cord injury (SCI) patients, participating two European FP7 projects (Mindwalker & Symbitron). In 2016, he started this company to accelerate the development process and hoping to make the advanced robots soon available to the disabled.
In 2016, Shiqian founded Reboocon MedTech Co.,Ltd in Suzhou, China and Reboocon Bionics B.V. in Delft, the Netherlands. Soon after the establishment, venture capitalists and industrial investors invested in this company. We are now in full throttle to accelerate our development.
In the Netherlands, our office is used to be at YES!Delft incubator, one of the best incubators in Europe. Since Nov 2018, Reboocon Bionics has moved to its 273m2 office at Rotterdamseweg in Delft. As of now, our team consists of several scientists and engineers, talented, motivated, and devoted. We do our best to help those in need!
